    Testmonials

“The ROKT climbing centre is Outstanding!! From the minute we arrived we were impressed with the whole experience. The centre is spread out over several floors with many different rooms tailored for specific types of climbing needs. The training room is a great addition and helps build on physical ability and is much cheaper than a gym. The caving system is exceptional and the students and staff really enjoyed testing their ability.

The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much to ask, Louise and Gary have been brilliant, and the owner Euan is always trying to make the experience even better. Thank you for making rock climbing an exciting part of our week!”

Craig Fenton, PE Dept - Salendine Nook High School

Our students have been regularly climbing at the Rokt since last September. The staff have made us very welcome and the students have a great rapport with them. Our students have benefitted greatly from the experience. They have better co-ordination, confidence and a greater self belief. In the funky surroundings with the music playing they all at some point have had that “Rocky” moment.

Ian Bell - Colne Valley Specialist Arts College.

All our children, parents and staff had an absolutely brilliant time. They all took the challenge and excelled themselves on the climbing wall and boulders. Two dads said that they had always wanted to have a go but had never had the confidence to enter a climbing club establishment but now they hope to return.
The whole group really cared for each others children and were all very positive and encouraging with each other - shouting out positives and support, it was humbling to hear.
I feel the activities encouraged the team to be positive and this again encouraged them all to try and that it was ok if you made a mistake or did not get so high up the wall - it was all applauded.

    Jill Hinchliffe - Birkby Infants

Our sixth formers have been able to use their time at ROKT to build skills that will set them up for their future. The coaching received and subsequent qualifications they have gained will look great on their CVs. They have also been able to develop the soft skills needed to work towards a common goal, or climb, that has helped them on their developing roles within the college community.
