Indoor climbing near Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford and Leeds
ROKT is in The Old Flour Mill on Millroyd Street, Brighouse HD6 1EY, next to the River Calder. Brighouse sits between Halifax and Huddersfield, with Bradford and Leeds a short drive away, and Brighouse station is around a 10 minute walk from the mill.
Bouldering, rope climbing and an indoor cave
Inside the mill you will find rope climbing, bouldering rooms, an indoor caving system and a strength gym. No experience is needed: you can pay per climb, register online and complete a short waiver before your visit.
A rainy day activity for families
Children can climb from age 3 with a supervising adult. Ages 14 to 17 can climb on their own after an induction and competency test. Being indoors, it works in any weather.
Climbing parties, groups and junior clubs
We run instructor-led birthday parties and group sessions, school and corporate visits, and junior climbing clubs (NICAS and Wild Climbers).
A piece of Brighouse heritage
ROKT is built into a converted Victorian flour mill, a Brighouse landmark, and is home to the ROKTFACE, the UK's highest man-made outdoor climbing wall, which is due to return in summer 2027.
